When handling Personal Information, the Company adheres to the laws, ordinances and regulations pertaining to the protection of Personal Information including the Act on the Protection of Personal Information.

The Company handles Personal Information only within the scope of the purpose of use specified to the extent possible before obtaining advance consent from the Individual except in exceptional cases as provided by law.
3. Obtaining Personal Information
When obtaining Personal Information, the Company does so using legitimate means and announces the purpose of use in advance of or notifies or announces the purpose of use to the Individual promptly after obtaining the Personal Information except in exceptional cases as provided by law. The Company specifies the purpose of use in advance when directly obtaining Personal Information from the Individual in writing.

The Company has formulated its “Nippon Yakin Kogyo Group Personal Information Protection Management Rules” to ensure that laws, ordinances and regulations relating to the protection of Personal Information are obeyed, and ensures all of its officers and employees obeys these Rules.
Personal Information refers to the name, birth date, and other information relating to an existing individual by which that specific individual can be identified.
An Individual refers to the specific individual who can be identified by Personal Information.
Stored Personal Information refers to Personal Information composing a personal information database or the like as well as, in addition to that composing a personal information database, that which is systematically composed such that specific Personal Information can be searched as provided by government ordinance.
Personal Data refers to personal data with certain attendant rights such as disclosure and correction specified by government ordinance as causing harm to the public welfare or some other interest should its existence be revealed as well as that not erased within six months.
