Local Shanghai Company Opens for Operation

Nippon Yakin Kogyo Co., Ltd.
On July 28, 2011, we announced the establishment of our new company, located in Shanghai, China. Since then, we have been working hard to prepare for the opening, and at last, we are open as of today.
The founding of the new company is a practical measure found in our Mid-Term Business Plan "Transformation 2011" formulated in May to lay the groundwork to expand our sales of high-function materials as a long-term strategy in the global marketplace. Our Shanghai corporation will develop and strengthen our sales capacity in the Chinese market, where the demand for high-functional materials continues to grow, particularly in the energy and environmental fields.
The work performed by Nippon Yakin Kogyo and consolidated subsidiary NAS Trading employees stationed in Shanghai is now handled by the new company.
