NAS Ni201 (UNS N02201) - Nickel 201

Our pure nickel NAS Ni201 provides superior corrosion resistance for such substances as caustic soda and chlorine gas. It plays an important role in caustic soda production equipment used for the diaphragm cell process. Nippon Yakin supplies this product in plate, sheet and strip forms.

Workability

The pure nickel content gives NAS Ni201 a low workability, making it suited for harsh cold working techniques such as spinning and coiling.

Weldability

TIG, MIG, shield metal arc and resistance welding can all be used with NAS Ni201. For the TIG and MIG consumable, we recommend ENi-1.

Heat Treatment

Heat treatment should be carried out between 700 and 850℃, followed by air cooling.

Applications

Caustic soda manufacturing equipment, mobile phone terminals, battery components, electrical parts for automobiles.
