Corrosion Resistant Alloys
NAS 625 (UNS N06625), comparable to Inconel® 625 Alloy
A primarily nickel alloy with molybdenum and niobium added to the nickel-chromium base for solute strengthening, NAS 625, comparable to Inconel® 625 Alloy, provides powerful resistance against corrosion and heat. Uses include parts in chemical and garbage incinerator plants. Nippon Yakin supplies this product in plate, sheet and strip forms.

Weldability
Although NAS 625 is not well suited to oxyacetylene welding, other welding techniques can be used. NAS 625 has a weldability similar to SUS 304. The welding solidification cracking sensitivity lies between SUS 304 and SUS 310.
Applications
Chemical plants, atomic power, seawater applications, jet engine parts, aircraft material, heat treatment furnace material, evaporators.
