On October 30, 2013, we announced plans to establish a new company in ASEAN. Since then, we have worked hard in preparation for the opening, and as of February 13, 2014, our new company is in operation.

This move is part of our strategy of “system organization for expanding high-function material sales on the global market,” an important part of our mid-term management plan “Reform 2011” that was finalized in May 2011. We hope that this new company will allow our sales division to better serve the ASEAN region and help the company grow in its high-function material operations.

The Singapore company will join out other local companies in China (Shanghai), North America (Mexico) and Europe (London) to further strengthen our sales team in important global markets for our high-function materials.

Work that was previously handled by our employees stationed in our Bangkok office will now be handled by the new corporation.
